Happy Friday

I have not posted this wonderful gift I received from Ranae for my birthday in September. I just love it!

I had a wonderful time in Indiana at the Inspired Needle Retreat. It was nice to visit and catch up with people I have not seen since last year. Met a lot of new people and got a lot of stitching done. Always a pleasure going and thanks to Cathy and staff who did a marvelous job putting it all together.

I did the small exchange at the retreat this is what I stitched. The one on the right is the one I stitched from Celebrations in St. Charles, it was one of the round robin projects. Pattern done by Karen Kluba, Rosewood Manor

This is what I received in the exchange.

Pictured below is a Tree of Life Samplings pattern Emma Rose Friendship. I personalized mine to remember my grandma. I used vintage buttercream, lakeside linen and the called for NPI silks. It was so much fun to stitch. I have to find a frame now.

Ranae and I pick a project to do together before the retreat and start it there. This last year was Rosewood Manor Old Glory. Stayed tuned for a post when i get back from framer.

This is our picked for this year, Jardin Prive Carrie d' Abeilles. It is coming along very nicely.

Well stay tuned. Take Care and Happy Stitching.

Happy Monday

Just got back from Arizona. Julie H. and I arrived on Thursday. We had to stop at The Attic after leaving the airport. I have posted a few photo's below inside the store.

They are still in the process of getting settled into the new store.

This is what I bought.

The reason Julie and I went to Arizona was a stitching gathering with designer, Rae Iverson. This was the Moss Creek project, "May I have this dance". Pre-stitching was done before class. Learned how to do the finishings of the slipper in class. Yeah I finished mine!

Bottom of the slipper.

This photo is everyone who finished the slipper.

Now this is the rest of the projects I get to complete. Wish me luck.

Had a wonderful time. Met some wonderful people. Take Care.
